Look at all the fun topics we cover each week!

Literacy & Language
We read books every day!
I offer hands-on, engaging literacy centers and activities on the topics of letter recognition, alphabet knowledge, phonological awareness, reading comprehension, writing, handwriting, and more! Reading topics coordinate with the current
theme.

Math
Explore fun, hands-on math activities and centers on the topics of counting, number identification, measuring, patterns, sorting, graphing, shape identification, and more.

Science
Learning is fun through exciting science and STEM investigations, activities, and centers designed to spark curiosity and develop science skills in the areas of life science, physical science, Earth and space sciences, and engineering.

Social & Emotional Development
We'll develop and strengthen our social and emotional skills while discovering topics of behavior, routines, feelings and emotions, and problem solving.

Art & Creativity
Our class will experiment with a variety of art techniques and mediums, such as paint, clay, mosaic, watercolors, chalk, stamps, and stencils. We'll learn the FUNdamental skills of cutting, gluing, and drawing. Students learn to appreciate others' work as well as see the value of their own creations. We'll also study famous artists and their creative techniques.

Cooking & Nutrition
Students learn how to navigate around a kitchen to make yummy and nutritious snacks.

Sensory Activities
Learning is fun when we can get messy! A variety of sensory opportunities are offered to enhance the current topic and learning experience.

Pretend Play
Every time a new theme is introduced, we'll play and pretend with dress-ups and props to spark our creative minds to build strong imaginations, friendships, cooperation, and problem solving skills.

Music
Music is woven into many of our daily activities. We'll learn to play simple instruments to explore feeling beat, tempo, and rhythm. We'll learn about different instruments and their sounds, as well as different styles of music, famous composers and their works.

Indoor/Outdoor Play
Preschoolers learn a great deal through play. It's a fun way to discover the world around them. Skills such as zipping, buttoning and cutting with scissors, build small muscles, improve dexterity, and develop good hand-eye coordination. Development of large motor skills promote balance, spatial awareness, rhythm, coordination, fitness and muscle tone.

About Me.
Hello, I'm Stephanie Seipert. I'm the owner/director of Maple Valley Mighty Tykes Preschool, LLC. I have over 27 years of experience working with children ages 18 months to 16 years old, through preschools, elementary schools, junior high schools, and various church and service organizations in UT and WA state. I've discovered I enjoy working with the little kiddos most of all.
I've earned degrees in Elementary Education at Utah Valley University and Early Childhood Education at Green River College. I graduated with honors with an emphasis in science, math, and art.
I've been married to my college sweetheart for 41 years. I'm a mom to three exceptional sons, MIL to a beautiful daughter, and grandmother to three amazing grandchildren, whom I adore with every fiber of my being! My dream day is sleeping in, enjoying breakfast in bed, with bacon of course, kayaking on a beautiful lake, and finishing it off by dancing the night away. My happy place is the Target Dollar Spot or the Dollar Tree (seriously, I could spend hours there). I love frozen cokes, traveling with my husband, hanging out with my girlfriends or grandkiddos, and anything that makes me laugh.
I'm licensed with the state of WA, currently certified in CPR, First Aid, and Anaphylactic Shock training, and have a current background check, which are all available to view at any time.
